Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: April 28, 2026

This page is provided for residents of California and other states with applicable privacy laws. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar laws in other states, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

Do We Sell or Share Your Personal Information?

Revolution Science / REVSCI (rvsci.com) does not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. However, under the broad definitions used by California privacy law, certain disclosures of personal information to third parties — including the use of advertising pixels, cookies, and analytics tools — may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, even when no money changes hands. This includes data disclosed to advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, and similar services for the purpose of targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use the following types of tools that may involve sharing data with third parties:

  • Advertising pixels and tags (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads) — may share browsing behavior and purchase data with advertising platforms to enable retargeted advertising.
  • Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) — may share site usage data with Google for traffic analysis.
  • Email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) — receive customer email addresses and purchase history for email communications.
  • E-commerce platform (Shopify) — processes and stores order, payment, and customer data on our behalf.

Your Right to Opt Out

You have the right to direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise this right, you may:

  • Submit a request by email: Send an email to support@rvsci.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell My Personal Information." Please include your name and the email address associated with your account or purchase, if applicable.
  • Submit a request by phone: Call us at (732) 595-8785.
  • Use browser-level opt-out tools: Many advertising platforms honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. You can enable GPC in supported browsers (such as Firefox or Brave) or via a browser extension. When detected, we will treat this as a valid opt-out request.

We will process opt-out requests within 15 business days of receipt. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights — you will continue to receive the same level of service and pricing.

Authorized Agent

You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require written proof of the agent's authority and verification of your identity before processing such requests.

Additional California Privacy Rights

In addition to the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information we hold about you. Please see our full Privacy Policy for details on how to exercise these rights.

Residents of Other States

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Texas (TDPSA), and other states with applicable privacy laws also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising using personal data. You may submit a request using the same contact methods listed above, and we will honor valid opt-out requests in accordance with the law of your state.
