I am a 17x Ironman and used this product in replacement of typical salt tabs in my last full race in September. I had used them during long training rides and runs to be sure they were for me. Based on the weather conditions and my sweat rate, I used this product multiple times per hour throughout the race. I had no cramping or metabolic imbalances to report. "All formulas specifically formulated as water additives for 'electrolytes/hydration' contain additives, flavors and sometimes even sweeteners / carbs which is counter-productive when one abstains from food. Formulas marketed for fasting or keto diets exist but they cost an arm and a leg. What else is one to do? The other option would be to take all the pills separately: Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, vitamins etc - which is too much to keep track of and too many pills to carry.
